Hi! Welcome to the offical website for 1st Somerville Venturer Unit (S.V.U).
As a Venturer Unit, we strive to embrace every possible means to get our Unit involved in every form of cyber communication. From Facebook to Twitter to even our own website, we want everyone to be able to see all the great things that we do as well as to be able to get information and our message out there.
We are based in Somerville, on the Mornington Peninsula, South East of Melbourne. We have 2 leaders and have 8 members with many more on the way!
Venturers is for boys and girls between 15 and 18 years of age, we are the fourth section in the ladder of Scouting. After Scouts and before Rovers.
As a Unit we enjoy all things fun! Indoors and outdoors as well as being social with other sections too.
If you are between 15 and 17 and you live in or near Somerville and you are free on Monday nights, 7.30-9.30 then we want to hear from you!
